About Cassis

Cassis was founded by Claire Assis.

Our aim is to provide a way for everyone to enjoy gourmet food.

Claire started her career as a chef at the Tate Galleries in London, working her way up to the 2 Michelin star restaurant, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire, before being head-hunted to cook for the Jordanian Royal Family. 

Moving back to the UK, she worked as a consultant to help small food business start up and expand, as well as creating the dessert and afternoon tea menus for the relaunch of The Mayfair hotel’s flagship restaurant.

After a decade working in food development and manufacture, she decided to strike out on her own to bring gourmet food to people around the UK.
